Two men found dead
LAHORE
Two people, yet to be identified, were found dead in different parts of the City in the last two days.
A 25-year-old youth was found dead in the area of Gwalmandi police and a 60-year-old man in the area of Bhatti Gate. Police claimed that both were addicts and said they might have died of overdoses of drugs. The bodies have been removed to morgue.
Medical aid: Edhi Welfare and other organisations provided medical aid to 7,000 mourners on Youm-e-Ashur.
The welfare organisations also shifted 118 mourners who had sustained severe injuries during flagellation to hospitals where their condition was stated to be out of danger.
arrested: New Anarkali police claimed to have arrested a drug pusher and seized 2 kg charas from his possession. The arrested accused was identified as Zubair alias Zubairi.
