Step up

This refers to the editorial, ‘Terror financing’ (Oct 8). The recommendations given by the government to fight terrorism will benefit the country. The financiers of banned outfits should be nabbed to uproot terrorism from the country. The country has been a victim of terrorist activities for so long. The decision of the SBP to freeze the bank accounts of those suspected of financing non-state actors will go a long way.

Extremist organisations should be kept under strict watch so that they may not resume their evil ways under alternate names. The strategies of the government will bring great results if implemented effectively.
