Four-MW power accord signed

FAISALABAD: A 4-megawatt power purchase agreement was signed on Monday between Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) and Noon Sugar Mills Bhalwal.Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rashid Ahmed Aslam, Chief Financial Officer Zahid Hassan and Chief Commercial Officer Sardar Masood Iqbal of Fesco Chief Operating Officer M Sohail Khokar, Resident Director Naveed Akhtar and DGM (Electrical) Saifur Rehman from Noon Sugar Mills signed the accord and exchanged the documents. On the occasion, Fesco CEO appreciated the accord, saying that such accords would be helpful to overcome energy crisis.He said the environment friendly project would provide cheap electricity. --Correspondent
