KARACHI: Pakistan hammered Hong Kong, China, 14-0 in their match of Boys Under-18 Asia Hockey Cup at Dhaka’s Maulana Bhashani hockey stadium.
Khairullah played outstandingly and scored a hat-trick.
Pakistan led 4-0 at half time.
As in the first two games, Pakistan came in the full gear during the second session and scored 10 goals.
Adeel Latif, Ahmed Nadeem, Naveed Alam and Waqar Ali scored two goals each. Amjad Ali, Afraz and Junaid Manzoor struck one each.
Pakistan scored 26 goals and conceded only one in their three pool matches.
Pakistan are the defending champions of the event.
The semi-finals will be played on Thursday (tomorrow).
