PTI writes to chief secretary over PML-N threats
LAHORE
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded the Punjab chief secretary to take notice of threats by elements backed by the PML-N to disrupt its "long march."

He said that a militant group had been created by the name of "Nawaz Janisar Force" which was equipped with clubs and deadly weapons and the members have been recruited and trained in various parts of Punjab under the supervision of PML-N office-bearers, to create grave law and order problems during the march and by infiltrating its youth force in the guise of workers of the PTI to create chaos.
“It has also been learnt that the planning has been made to thwart the peaceful march of the PTI by blocking roads, arresting the participants, closing patrol pumps and creating hurdles to the routes of the march through containers,” he said.
The ruling PML-N with the motive to restrict the attendance during the march, has ensured to stop public transport by using police, district administrations and secretary RTA etc. Under the circumstances, you are informed, to take firm measures to desist the PML-N office bearers from taking any illegal and unconstitutional action and to ensure the upholding of law and the Constitution in letter and spirit, it added.
