Threats to PTI workers terrorism, says Sarwar
LAHORE
PTI leader Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that life threats to PTI workers is a form of terrorism, and alleged the PML-N government is doing politics of violence.
“If people stand against corruption, it is neither unconstitutional nor undemocratic", the former Punjab governor and the PTI leader said in a statement issued on Saturday. He said the people involved in corruption deserved no mercy.
He said the country could not afford violent politics and the perpetrators of violent politics were not friends of the country. "We will chase the corrupt people until return of looted wealth," Chaudhry Sarwar said, adding that the power corridors would not provide shelter to the corrupt people.
All promises made by the rulers have proved false, he said.
Sumsam: Pakistan Tehreeki-Insaaf Secretary Information Sumsam Bokhari has said the entire PTI is united under the leadership of Imran Khan and all is set for Raiwind March.
Talking to the media at the Chairman Secretariat, Sumsam Bokhari dispelled the impression that he had differences between PTI Secretary General Jehangir Tareen. He said there existed a complete coordination between them. He also said that entire PTI was united on the call of the party chairman and the leaders were holding regular meetings to review the preparations for Raiwind March on September 30.
To a question, he said that the government should avoid adopting the path of confrontation. He alleged the elements threatening the PTI were involved in attacking the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Sumsam stated that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had no option left but to present himself for accountability as the nation was all set to take to the streets on Sept 30. He said Raiwind March would take place at every cost.
To a question about tension at borders, Sumsam Bokhari said that India must avoid war frenzy, otherwise, it would be given a tit for tat reply.
Dr Zarqa Taimur, senior leader of PTI, said that PML-N media cell was once again active in spreading disinformation against PTI. Talath Naqvi and other women activists of PTI were also present. Ejaz Chaudhry, PTI Punjab former president and Abdul Aleem Khan, head of the PTI central Punjab region, also addressed a gathering of party workers in connection with the preparation of the Raiwind march.
