RDA anti-encroachment drive continues

Rawalpindi: The enforcement cell and building staff of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) conducted another operation against illegal land use and sealed three properties on Asghar Mall Road, Rawalpindi.

Following directives of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division/Director General (DG) RDA Azmat Mahmud, RDA’s Building Control Wing has been actively conducting continuous operations against illegal/unauthorized commercial and residential construction activities including plazas/shops, schools and other encroachments within the controlled area of RDA in Rawalpindi city.

Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate, Building Control’s staff including Rana Tariq Javed Khan, In-charge Building Control, Syed Muhammad Aslam, Superintendent and Building inspectors Friday with the assistance of Rawalpindi Police from the concerned police station carried out an operation against illegal properties, shops, and a school on Asghar Mall Road, Rawalpindi. RDA Enforcement team sealed 03 properties including P-1529, P-1533 and P-1536, 08 shops including Makeup city, Beauty parlour, J.D studio, Dehli optical, Technocare, Refrigeration, Word shop and an Ozoneschool on Asghar Mall Road Rawalpindi. The operation was carried out by the RDA’s Enforcement Team in the supervision of RDA’s Enforcement in-charge. The DG RDA has directed the Enforcement Wing to take strict action against illegal/ unauthorised constructions commercial activities and encroachments without any fear.
