Abdul Qadir Baloch meets Shahbaz
CM says extremist designs of India threat to regional peace
LAHORE
Federal Minister Lt-Gen (R) Abdul Qadir Baloch met Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif effectively raised the Kashmir issue at the United Nations. He said the atrocities and brutalities being committed by India against unarmed Kashmiri people had crossed all limits. He said that free and fair plebiscite was the right of Kashmiris.
Shahbaz Sharif said that depriving Kashmiri people of their right to self-determination was a grave injustice, and the international community should play its role in this regard. The chief minister said that extremist designs of India were a threat to peace in the region. He said that brave Pak Army was fully capable to defend the country. He said that Pakistani nation and the armed forces were prepared to give a befitting reply to any aggression and foil the evil designs of the enemy.
