World Literacy Day event

LAHORE
Punjab University will organise an event to mark World Literacy Day on Thursday (today) at 10am at Al-Raazi Hall.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran, LCWU VC Dr Uzma Qureshi, Higher Education Commission Punjab Director General Dr Shahid Sroya, Director General Punjab Libraries Dr Zahir-ud-Din Babar, President Rotary Club of Lahore Canal Syed Shahbaz Bukhari and others will attend the event.
Seminar: Punjab University Pakistan Study Centre will organise a seminar on “Faiz Ahmad Faiz and the Urdu Tradition” on Thursday (today) at 11am at its auditorium. On this occasion, Professor from University of Texas Austin’s South Asia Institute Dr Carla Petievich will be the keynote speaker.
