ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Post Office earned an amount of Rs441.707 million through its remittance services for citizens during fiscal year 2014/15, a statement said Tuesday.
The department collected Rs324.984 million through issuance of inland money orders, Rs27.58 million by selling Pakistan Postal orders, Rs26.59 million through urgent money orders and fax money orders, Rs3.731 million via electronic money orders, and Rs58.822 million were collected through Western Union.
Pakistan Post Office provides remittance services of ordinary money orders, postal orders, urgent money orders, fax money orders, electronic money orders, postal draft, and Pakistan post e-remittances through Western Union, an official said.
