LAHORE: Extending full support to operation in Karachi after Altaf Hussain’s anti-Pakistan speeches, the parliamentarians representing the Hindu community of Pakistan have called for stern action against all anti-state elements and RAW spies conspiring against the country.

“Atlaf Hussain has never accepted Pakistan as his motherland. He is a British passport holder who has no concern with the Mohajirs here, and his remarks against Pakistan are intolerable, and I demand strict action against him and anyone else working on the agenda of RAW,” said Gayan Chand, a PPP senator from Tharpakar, Sindh, while talking to The News.

Gayan Chand, who was elected senator in 2015 and belongs to the scheduled caste, stated that the members of the Hindu community of Pakistan are as loyal to the country as anyone else and anyone who nurses hatred against Pakistan deserves no mercy.

The Hindu senator went on to say that Altaf Hussain and those working on his agenda were extremely unfortunate because they could never develop in their hearts the love for the land which gave them shelter.

“He (Altaf Hussain) wants to destabilise Pakistan and turn the colourful city of Karachi into a graveyard. Nothing against Pakistan which is our motherland can be accepted,” said Gayan Chand while demanding stern action against anti Pakistan elements.

Bhawan Das, a PML-N MNA from the Hindu community from Sanghar district, while talking to The News said that what Altaf Hussain's remarks against Pakistan were in fact the voice of Narendera Modi, Indian prime minister.

Bhawan stated that beyond any doubt, it has been Indian agenda to desbtalise and weaken Pakistan, and Altaf was working on similar agenda while claiming himself to be the true representative of Mohajirs.

He said that this country had honoured, loved and sheltered anyone, devoid of cast, colour and religion and he himself was a proud MNA of the 342 member National Assembly. “It is all because of Pakistan, what I am today is just because of this green flag and any tirade against our country is totally unacceptable,” said Bhawan Das.

He said the wrong statements of the people like Altaf Hussain caused trouble for members of minorities who were true patriots.

Lal Malhi, a PTI MNA from Umerkot, while talking to The News, vehemently condemned anti-Pakistan remarks by Altaf Hussain and wanted action against the elements who were spreading hatred against the country.

Lal Malhi stated that Altaf Hussain’s issue should not be taken lightly as his speech came to surface at a time when Indian atrocities in Kashmir were gaining international attention. He said there was a planned move behind all this, and the establishment should also tackle the prevailing situation quite carefully.

Lal Maldhi said, "We must end debate of good Mohajir or bad Mohajir as anyone who had bad sentiments against Pakistan could not be spared or tolerated." Besides, he said there was a dire need to improve policing in Sindh and demanded that the police must be de-politicised to ensure proper law and order situation.
