SHO stopped from harassment

An Additional District and Sessions Court on Saturday directed the Sherakot SHO not to harass a woman who had contracted marriage against the wishes of her father.
Petitioner Mahnoor contended in her petition on August 25 that she had solemnised marriage with Mujahid Ali with her free will but her father forced her to be part of his prostitution business and took her abroad. She contended that whenever she refused, he tortured her. She said he had also sent her two sisters abroad for the business. She said her father, Mirza Zaheeruddin, had joined hands with the Sherakot SHO and harassing her and her husband. The court ordered the SHO not to harass the petitioner.
