Drug addiction among the youth is rising with each passing day. Hashish addiction is on the top. About 90 percent of the addicts belong in the age bracket of 14-17. Hashish damages the brain, and leads to insomnia, fatigue, and violent behaviour. Young addicts are involved in street crimes.
The question is: why are these things so easily available in our society? Why are these sellers and peddlers not punished by the government? There should be parental care, teachers’ guidance, on such matters.
