ETPB ‘ghost’ employees salaries withheld
LAHORE
Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman Siddiq-ul-Farooq Wednesday revealed that the board withheld salaries of all ‘ghost’ employees.
According to a press release, The ETPB chairman made this announcement while addressing the board’s employees at an open court outside his office.
Farooq said he didn’t withhold salaries of those over 500 employees who are under investigation by NAB, Lahore. He told the employees that he will not tolerate all those who often remain absent from their duties and strict actions will be taken against them.
The chairman said he will also strictly act against all those employees who found involved in creating law and order at the ETPB.
He said genuine grievances of the employees would be addressed on priority. He said auction of the board’s properties has been made transparently which would result in earning more revenue for the trust.
