Never ever was the need to build a global society more acute than it is today. The religions of the world need to work together for worldwide unity, peace and harmony. The nations of the world need to put their hands together to create a global milieu wherein people of all persuasions can live in peace and harmony. The golden rule to accomplish this stupendous goal has also been given by most religions of the world – ‘do to others what you would have them do to you’.
Respect for others and discernment of the truth go hand in hand. Our responsibility is to present that which we deem to be the truth lovingly to others and then respect the personal choice of others. Our respect for others is vital to gaining their respect. May we follow the golden rule, ‘doing unto others what we would have them do to us’.
