RDA seals 14 properties in Gulraiz Housing Scheme

Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) sealed 14 properties in residential areas of Gulraiz Housing Scheme.

In consequence of previous operation, RDA took another legal action against illegal constructions in Gulraiz Housing Scheme. Gulraiz Community Society president has also submitted application against unauthorised illegal commercialisation in Gulraiz Housing Scheme. RDA’s Building Control is continuously conducting operations against illegal and unauthorised shops, building constructions, and encroachments in the city. Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate, Building Control's staff today with the assistance of Rawalpindi Police from the concerned Police Station carried out an operation at Gulraiz Housing Scheme, Rawalpindi.

RDA Enforcement team sealed 14 properties including tiles godown, aluminium godown, four furniture showroom, two goat shops, goat house, mineral water store, stationery shop, boutique, chicken shop and fruit and vegetables shop in Gulraiz Housing Scheme. The operation was carried out by the RDA’s enforcement team in the supervision of RDA's Enforcement in-charge Rana Tariq Javed.

Commissioner Rawalpindi Division and Director General (DG), RDA Azmat Mahmud has directed the Building control section to take strict action against illegal and unauthorized constructions, commercial activities and encroachments without any fear and favour.
