Three years

By our correspondents
July 25, 2016

Despite many hurdles and an unstable path, the democratic government of the PML-N has completed its three years. There is no denying the fact that the Pakistan of 2016 is to a great extent different from that of 2013 and all this has become possible due to the untiring and strenuous efforts of the PML-N led government. The PPP government failed to do anything worthwhile during its five years of rule.

In contrast to this, the PML-N government has made remarkable gains in different spheres of life. Instead of adopting a policy of confrontation, the top leadership of the PML-N tried hard to adopt a policy of conciliation and took all stakeholders on board. To resolve Pakistan’s energy woes, the government has initiated many projects to meet the energy demands of the country. The CPEC project goes to the credit of the PML-N government. The project will certainly prove to be a fate-changer not only for Pakistan but for the entire region. With the aim to bring a qualitative change in the lives of people, the government is bent upon paying special attention to the needs of people and many steps have been taken in this regard to promote education and improve healthcare facilities in the country. It is hoped that the government will remain sincere in its efforts to make Pakistan a developed country.
