KARAK: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) provincial head Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan said on Sunday that the foreign powers wanted to promote western culture in Pakistan.
Speaking at a meeting of the district executive body of the party here, he said the US and its western allies were against religious education in the country.Gul Naseeb believed that 75 percent people in the country lived below the poverty line as the elite class exploited the poor and usurped their rights.
He said majority rulers of the Muslim countries were the agents of the US and the West. The JUI-F leader said the Western powers exploited the resources of the Muslim world as the rulers of the Muslims countries were the lackeys of the US.
He said the people of the sub-continent rendered a lot of sacrifices for the creation of an independent Islamic state, but he lamented that the rulers failed to implement Shariah in Pakistan. Gul Naseeb said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party ruled the country for years, but did nothing worthwhile for its development.
