Four held for manhandling rickshaw driver
NOWSHERA: The police arrested four persons accused of manhandling a rickshaw driver in main Pabbi bazaar, official sources said on Saturday.
The accused also included a village youth councillor of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shujaat Shah. The others were identified as Sadaqat Shah, Mohib Shah and Saleh Muhammad.
The victim while registering a case with the police said the councillor with the help of his brother and two other friends roughed him up and put a noose around his neck.
“They also took my pictures with the noose around my neck and uploaded to the facebook,” Siraj Muhammad complained to the police.
Taking note of the complaint, District Police Officer Wahid Mehmood directed the Pabbi police to take action against the accused. Police arrested the accused and registered a case against them.
