Protest against kidnapping
LAHORE
Lahore police failed to recover a 13-year-old boy who had been kidnapped from Badami Bagh some days back.
The boy identified as Yaseen, son of Shafique, was kidnapped by unidentified persons from Badami Bagh area some days back. The boy’s family and relatives staged a protest demonstration and blocked traffic in protest. They demanded immediate recovery of the abducted boy and the arrests of the culprits involved in the kidnapping. The protesters dispersed after police assurance.
Fire: A fire broke out at a hospital in Shadman on Saturday. Cause of the fire was said to be short circuit. Firefighters rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire after hectic efforts.

According to Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Tayyab Hafeez Cheema, the purpose behind the campaign was to make people aware about dangers of wheeling.
