Late Abdul Sattar Edhi was a great man. He served his entire life to the humanity without any discrimination. His services and sacrifices are unforgettable. No one can fill his space.
July 8 must be declared ‘Edhi Day’. We don’t want any holiday or official leave on that date. Just a simple day should be announced in his remembrance.

Edhism is not only a philosophy but a learning module to become a better human and a better Muslim. Edhi did his job; now it is our duty to pay him back by declaring July 8 as ‘Edhi Day’, renaming the Islamabad International Airport as Edhi International Airport, building a monument, issuing a stamp, and above all to start giving Edhi awards to philanthropists and outstanding Pakistanis.
Edhi was an institution in himself. He was a living legend who gave us a real understanding of social work. His contribution to humanity will not be forgotten.
