The Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) has planned to appoint senior teachers to Islamabad’s model colleges for girls, which it oversees through the Federal Directorate of Education.
These appointments will be made through the Federal Public Service Commission, a government agency tasked with recruiting officials for federal government departments and attached organisations by holding tests and interviews.
Currently, all federal government positions of BPS-16 and above are made through the FPSC.
Among the teachers to be appointed by the FDE through the FPSC are a BPS-19 female associate professor of botany/vice principal and three BPS-18 female assistant professors of mass communication, history and applied psychology.
Though to be made on temporary basis, all these appointment are likely to continue for a long period.
Also, the Capital Administration and Development Division has engaged the FPSC for appointing a BPS-19 associate professor of mathematics will be appointed to the Federal College of Education on permanent basis.
