VIP culture

We constantly see main roads being blocked for VIP movement. At times this creates very serious problems for the general public. One of the most disturbing consequences of such ‘VIP’ movement is that ambulances carrying the wounded and the seriously ill are also not allowed to be on the main roads.
It has also been observed that sometimes the roads are closed about one hour ahead of this so-called VIP movement without keeping in mind the misery this leads to for the public. I suggest that the government should ensure security of the VIPs but stop the practice of blocking roads.
