ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, on Thursday asserted that no power on earth could bar a change from taking place in Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion of the joining of PTI by several former ministers and ex-legislators, Imran claimed that the message of his party had reached every nook and corner of Pakistan.
“The days of traditional politicians and politics and of those involved in the game of reaching the corridors of power turn by turn are numbered,” he said. Imran claimed that corrupt politicians would also face ruthless accountability for their misdeeds. He added the dream of turning Pakistan into an Islamic welfare state would be fulfilled soon.
Former federal minister Chaudhry Shahbaz Hussain from Jhelum, former minister from Narowal Tariq Anis, Chaudhry Zafarullah from Gujranwala, Umar Aftab from Sheikhupura, former MNA Dost Muhammad Mazari and Barrister Shahid Mehmood from Kasur and scores of others announced becoming a part of the PTI.Among others, central PTI leaders, including Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Jehangir Tareen, were present on the occasion.
