LAHORE : The Lahore Waste Management Company's (LWMC) operational teams, under the directive of LWMC Chief Executive Officer Babar Sahib Din, carried out special cleaning around the mosques on Friday, while the process of manual sweeping is also going on in commercial markets, public places, and crowded places.
Babar Sahib Din stated that LWMC teams are active in the field around the clock, ensuring the daily clearance of over 5,000 waste containers. Additionally, daily mechanical sweeping is being conducted on over 800km roads, while mechanical washing is under way on more than 100km roads. The cleaning of 272 bus stops and the Lorry Adda is also being ensured.
CEO Babar Sahib Din emphasised that all resources are being used to provide a clean environment for Lahore residents. He urged citizens to support LWMC teams in their efforts to maintain cleanliness.
