As Iran attacks Israel, Jews around the world pray for safety and rescue of Jewish state

ISLAMABAD: Jews across the world and especially in Israel have thronged to Synagogues to pray for safety and rescue of Jewish state of Israel at the face of Iran’s counter attacks as unprovoked Israeli aggression against Iran is entering seventh day.

An Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post has reported on Wednesday that “Jewish congregations, synagogues, and rabbis from across the Diaspora have joined together in prayer for Israel as it continues its operation against the Islamic Republic.”

The report didn’t name Iran in first stance but used “Islamic Republic” for its personification. The newspaper has reported that the Orthodox Union asked members to join it in reciting specially selected psalms (20, 83, 121, 130, and 142).

“At this critical time, as Israeli forces courageously undertake defensive strikes against the malevolent Iranian regime and its forces and as the state of Israel and Jews everywhere encounter much hostility and danger, all of us offer sincere prayers,” it wrote. The report used “malevolent Iranian regime” phrase that represents height of hater about Iran’s leadership.
