Two policemen killed, five injured in Sui firing
Injured were shifted to Indus Hospital Sui, where condition of both wounded officers was reported to be critical
QUETTA: Two police personnel were martyred and five others, including two policemen and three passersby, sustained injuries when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a police patrol in Sui’s Toota Colony.
According to Sui police, the incident occurred on Sunday night when the assailants indiscriminately fired at a police vehicle. The injured were immediately shifted to Indus Hospital Sui, where the condition of both wounded police officers was reported to be critical. The three injured passersby were discharged after receiving initial medical treatment. Funeral prayers were offered for the policemen who were martyred in the firing incident in Sui, Dera Bugti. According to details, the funeral of Constable Rehm Ali was held in Sui, while the funeral of Constable Nasruddin took place in Sohbatpur. The prayers were attended by senior police officials and a large number of local residents. The policemen were laid to rest with full official honors after being presented with a guard of honor.
