PESHAWAR: Bacha Khan Medical Complex/Gajju Khan Medical College (GKMC), Swabi, has been accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) to offer Fellowship (FCPS) training in Neonatal Paediatrics and Neurosurgery, marking a significant milestone in specialist medical education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to an official letter issued by CPSP following a re-inspection conducted on May 23, 2025, the institution met the required standards in faculty, infrastructure, and training facilities. GKMC Swabi is now the first institution in the province to receive accreditation in Neonatology.The recognition is expected to enhance the capacity for postgraduate training.
