CDA launches Gandhara Heritage, Citizen Centre
Islamabad:A soft launch ceremony was held on Wednesday to operationalize the Gandhara Heritage and Citizen Centre at F-9 Park, Islamabad, under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, chaired the event as chief guest. The pre-launch ceremony was attended by CDA board members from the administration, finance, environment, planning, engineering, and technology wings, along with representatives from the hotel industry and potential investors.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Randhawa stated that this was the first time such a project was being launched in Islamabad, marking a significant milestone in the city’s development. He added that funds generated from such projects will be specifically allocated for the beautification, maintenance, and upgradation of income-generating assets—particularly F-9 Park.
