Woman gang-raped in front of husband

HAFIZABAD: Three men have gang-raped a woman in front of her husband at gunpoint at Mangat Oncha near here.

After the rape, the influential accused tortured the couple and made them have sex in front of the camera. The DPO has taken notice of the incident. A case has been registered against eight accused. One of the accused is the cousin of a legal inspector posted in the DPO Office. Ali Raza, a resident of Shahdara Town, Lahore, along with his wife, was coming to Hafizabad from Nowshera Wirkan when his wife stopped near Madinah Sugar Mills to relieve herself. There, Ikram, son of Riyat Ali Mangat, Laiq, son of Maqsood, Khawar, son of Fayyaz, all residents of Mangat Oncha, came there along with four other armed accomplices and took the husband and wife hostage at gunpoint. They took them behind the Government High School Mangat Oncha. Ikram, Laiq and Khawar raped Gulnaz in turn and later tortured the couple as well. Chand made the video. After the incident, one of the accused was detained by the Hamidpura Police Post but was later released after allegedly accepting bribe on the instructions of DSP President Circle Rana Jamil Qaiser. On this, DPO Atif Nazir has suspended the post in-charge, ASI Kashif.
