Pakistan juniors camp just after Eid
KARACHI: Pakistan junior hockey team’s training camp will be held just after Eid-ul-Fitr in Lahore.
Around 26 players will be picked for the training camp, which will continue till the departure for Europe, ‘The News’ learnt on Wednesday.
Sources in the PHF said that Pakistan juniors might depart on July 12 for Holland, where they would play two matches against Holland’s juniors.
Then the team will go to Germany to participate in a four-nation hockey tournament. The other teams will be Germany, Holland and Belgium.
The sources said that the Green-shirts would return home for COAS ranking tournament.
After that the team will once again go to Europe. The final dates for that are yet to be decided. Pakistan juniors are preparing for the World Cup to be held in India later this year.
