Commitment to make KP polio-free reiterated
PESHAWAR: Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah on Tuesday reiterated the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s commitment to make the province polio-free.The chief secretary was talking to Ayesha Raza Farooq, Prime Minister’s Focal Person (PMFP) for Polio Eradication here. Ayesha Raza Farooq met the chief secretary to discuss the province’s ongoing polio eradication efforts. Anwarul Haq, coordinator of the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC), Shafiullah Khan, provincial Coordinator EOC KP and other senior officials also attended the meeting.
The discussion focused on evaluating the current status of polio eradication, identifying key challenges, and reviewing the effectiveness of the ongoing campaign. The participants also discussed strategies to enhance coordination, improve campaign quality, and outreach
