PESHAWAR: Villagers on Kohat Road briefly boycotted the anti-polio vaccination campaign to protest the 18-hour loadshedding in their areas.
The villagers had announced boycotting the polio campaign against the 16-hour power breakdowns. On Sunday they boycotted the campaign when it was kicked off across the province amid strict security.
Later the officials of district administration held meetings with elders in Bahader Killay and other areas after which the polio campaign was resumed.
