Federal minister praises armed forces’ victory in recent clash
Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said Pakistan’s armed forces compelled the country’s enemy to hastily retreat due to their exemplary courage, bravery and effective military strategy.
Talking to the media after attending the funeral of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz activist Samina Qasim, Tarar praised the courage shown by Pakistan’s armed forces in their recent military clash with India
He praised the courageous military leadership of Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, who showed far-sightedness while dealing with the country’s enemy in the clash.
He also eulogised the daring manoeuvrers of Pakistan’s fighter pilots while repulsing the aerial attack by India. He said the navy also fought well in the military clash to protect Pakistan’s maritime frontiers and help the country secure a historical win against its arch-enemy.
He also said the Pakistan Army, the Pakistan Navy and the Pakistan Air Force were fully alert to befittingly retaliate against India. India has now adopted a defensive position against Pakistan after losing its fighter planes and the destruction of its military installations, he added.
Tarar said Turkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a time-tested friend of Pakistan, and keenly popular among Pakistanis. Erdogan played a vital role in the clash between Pakistan and India, he added.
He said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would visit Turkiye, Azerbaijan and Iran. People took to the streets in the Azerbaijan capital Baku to celebrate Pakistan’s military victory, he added.
He also said that friendly countries supported Pakistan’s righteous narrative based on truth. India has no standpoint to plead its case in talks with Pakistan, he added.
He pointed out that Pakistan has offered India cooperation in any neutral investigation into the Pahalgam terror attack. He praised Pakistan’s media houses and social media activists for their decisive role in the military clash with India.
He said Pakistan effectively exposed the baseless Indian narrative on diplomatic and media fronts. India had to suffer a crushing defeat due to the daring response shown by the chiefs of Pakistan’s armed forces and all their soldiers, he added.
