FAISALABAD: Two labourers committed suicide due to extreme financial hardship in separate incidents here.
A 45-year-old rickshaw driver and father of four from Laman Pind had sold his rickshaw months ago due to economic distress. Similarly, 30-year-old Zahid, a daily wage worker from Chak 265/RB Badi Nagan, ingested poisonous pills. Both men died in a hospital.
ELECTRIC SHOCK CLAIMS LIFE: A man lost his life due to an electric shock at Tufail Town.
Reportedly, 28-year-old Waqas received a fatal electric shock while operating a water motor and died en route to the hospital.
In another case 28-year-old Abdullah came into contact with a high-voltage overhead power line and suffered burns on 80% of his body. He is currently in critical condition at a hospital.
