PESHAWAR: Adviser to Chief Minister on Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif held a late-night meeting with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, sources said.
“A detailed discussion was held on possible negotiations between PTI and the federal government,” the party sources told Geo News.According to them, Barrister Saif briefed the PTI founder on negotiations taking place at various levels and discussed the future strategy.
The PTI founder instructed Barrister Saif to convey his stance to the relevant forums. The meeting also touched upon matters concerning Pakistan and India.When approached for a comment, Barrister Saif declined to make any statement, saying, “I do not want to comment on this matter.”
It is worth mentioning that a day earlier, KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had also met with Imran Khan.Speaking to the media after the meeting, he stated, “If our people are not allowed to meet Imran Khan, we will not support the IMF conditions.”
