Illegal structures demolished in Mansehra
MANSEHRA: The district administration, in collaboration with the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) and police, on Tuesday launched an anti-encroachment drive in the city, its suburbs and Lassan Nawab, demolishing both temporary and permanent illegal structures.
A team from the TMA, led by Mohammad Iqbal, the head of the anti-corruption department, carried out the operation along Abbottabad Road, Kashmir Road, Shinkiari Road and the Lari Adda area, removing unauthorised constructions and handcarts obstructing traffic.
The confiscated hand carts were shifted to the TMA’s godown on Kashmir Road. Another team led by Assistant Commissioner Mansehra, Muniba Fatima, launched a similar operation in Lassan Nawab and nearby areas. In this operation, concrete structures in local bazaars were demolished, and encroachments, including stalls and hand carts, were removed.
