Islamic finance training
KARACHI: Meezan Bank has organized a ‘six-day advanced Islamic finance’ course for its staff members, , a statement said on Tuesday.
This course forms part of the bank’s regular efforts to keep its staff members updated on the latest developments in the field of Islamic Banking and Finance as well as to enhance their understanding of practical issues underlying day-to-day business and financing transactions, it said.
The course was conducted by industry renowned Shariah scholars and Meezan Bank’s skilled professionals. Different modes of training including classroom training, discussions, group projects and case studies were employed during this comprehensive course.
The course was designed to take Islamic finance professionals at the Bank - particularly those who deal with the high-end transactions, customers and other stakeholders directly- to advanced levels of practical knowledge. The program was tailored to enhance the professional skills of the Islamic bankers of Meezan Bank by stimulating discussions and developing their understanding of Islamic finance by combining theoretical concepts with real world business scenarios.
