Wrong injection claims minor’s life

LAHORE:A 10-month-old girl died after reportedly being administered a wrong injection in the Shafiqabad area.

The victim was identified as Urooj, daughter of Dilshad. According to the victim’s father, Dilshad, the injection was given by a doctor in the Munshi Bagh Ladha locality. Immediately after receiving the injection, Urooj’s condition worsened. She was rushed to Mayo Hospital but could not survive. Police arrived at the scene shortly after being informed and initiated legal proceedings.

Man shot dead over minor issue

A young man was shot dead following an argument in the Kahna area over standing in front of a mansion. The victim, identified as Mubashir, was killed on the spot after being shot in the stomach. According to police, suspects Javed, Nishan Ali, and Asad allegedly confronted Mubashir, leading to a heated exchange that quickly escalated.

The suspects then opened fire, resulting in Mubashir’s death. Police have collected forensic evidence from the scene and shifted the body for postmortem examination. A case has been registered, and a search is under way to apprehend the suspects.

Transgender found slain in house

A transgender person was brutally murdered just days before his sister’s wedding in the limits of Faisal Town police. The victim identified as Zaman alias Palwasha, originally from a village in Bahawalnagar, was found with his throat slit by an unidentified assailant. According to the FIR filed by Palwasha’s brother, M Imran, the murder occurred late on Saturday night. Police have registered a case against unidentified suspects.
