Spirit of Pakistan remains unyielding in face of challenges, says CM
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Saturday highlighted the multifaceted role of Pakistan’s armed forces, saying that they are not only defenders of the nation’s borders but are also vital contributors during natural disasters and international peacekeeping missions.
Shah was delivering a speech as the chief guest at the Pakistan Victory Celebrations, a grand event dedicated to commemorating the valour, sacrifices and remarkable achievements of the armed forces. The event was organised by the Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP).
Addressing a distinguished gathering that included dignitaries, and engineers and members of the IEP, he expressed profound pride and gratitude for the unwavering courage and resilience demonstrated by the military.
“This celebration is more than a tribute to military success; it is a celebration of the indomitable spirit of Pakistan, a spirit that remains unyielding in the face of challenges, rising stronger after every trial with hope, pride and steadfast determination.”
The CM also appreciated the IEP for organising the event. He emphasised the crucial role engineers play as architects of the nation’s future, noting that the collaboration between those who build and those who protect is a powerful symbol of national unity.
In a solemn moment, he paid homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Pakistan’s freedom and peace, affirming that their legacy would forever inspire the nation.
Concluding his address, he called upon all Pakistanis to unite in safeguarding the dignity, sovereignty and progress of the homeland. He reiterated the collective pledge to work tirelessly toward a prosperous, secure and united Pakistan.
The event was marked by a spirit of patriotism and solidarity, reflecting the nation’s deep respect for their defenders, and their commitment to continued progress and unity.
