James Van Der Beek's widow mourns Eric Dane days after husband's death
Kimberly Van Der Beek shares touching memory of Eric Dane and James Van Der Beek after back-to-back tragedies
James Van Der Beek's widow is mourning the loss of Eric Dane just a week after her husband's death.
Kimberly Van Der Beek took to her Instagram on February 21 and penned down a poignant tribute in memory of the Grey's Anatomy actor.
Tagging Dane's wife, Rebecca Gayheart, she wrote, "RIP @realericdane. We love you.”
“Will miss our guys laughing at Christmas parties together.”
Along with the touching note, Kimberly uploaded a photo of the foursome posing together at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in June 2017.
The Euphoria actor passed away on February 19, after an intense battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
"He spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world," his family revealed to People in a statement.
“Throughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight.”
James Van Derr Beek breathed his last at the age of 48 on February 11 after a three-year battle with colon cancer.
“Our beloved James David Van Der Beek passed peacefully this morning,” Kimberly announced his death in an Instagram post.
“He met his final days with courage, faith and grace. There is much to share regarding his wishes, love for humanity and the sacredness of time. Those days will come.”
