Conquerors, Stars win matches in National T20 Tournament

KARACHI: Stars defeated Invincibles by seven wickets at National Bank Stadium by 7 wickets, while Conquerors beat Challengers by 31 rus at Oval Academy Ground , National Women T20 Tournament on Saturday.

Both Conquerors and Starts now leading the points table with eight points each.

Batting first, Invincibles posted 140 runs for the loss of six wickets.

Captain Muneeba Ali scored 52, while Ayesha Zafar contributed 61 runs. The pair shared a 115-run opening partnership. Aliza Mukhtiar took three wickets.

Stars chased the target in the 19th over, losing only three wickets. Captain Sidra Ameen remained unbeaten on 70 and was the top scorer.

Saima Malik claimed three wickets. Sidra Ameen was named Player of the Match. At Oval Academy Ground, Conquerors beat Challengers by 31 runs.

Batting first, Conquerors scored 139 for five. Captain Fatima Sana top-scored with 42 runs. Ramin Shamim took three wickets.

In reply, Challengers managed 108 for six. Aliya Riaz scored 35 runs and was the top scorer for her team. Hamna Bilal picked up two wickets. Fatima Sana was named Player of the Match.
