People’s support termed crucial to eliminate terrorism
LAKKI MARWAT: Regional Police Officer, Bannu, Sajjad Khan has declared the people’s support is inevitable to completely eliminate terrorism, saying that the recent result-oriented actions against terrorists are the result of joint efforts by police and area people.
Chairing a meeting at the district police offices here in the District Headquarters Complex Tajazai on Tuesday, he said that the police were fully capable of giving a befitting reply to anti-peace and anti-state elements and to thwart their nefarious designs and terror mongering.
Lakki Marwat DPO Muhammad Jawad Ishaq, SP Investigation Murad Wazir, sub divisional police officer, SHOs and investigation officers were in attendance. The regional police chief arrived in the district on a daylong visit with a busy schedule.
On arrival at the police lines, Sajjad received a guard of honour from an alert contingent and placed floral wreaths on the monument of martyrs. At the meeting, he discussed with subordinate officials the challenges to the law and order situation and peace in the region and acquainted them with his vision to maintain lasting peace and make the entire region crime-free.
