LAHORE:SP Civil Lines Chaudhry Athar Ali Tuesday suspended three police officials accused of extorting Rs1,000 from a rickshaw driver in Garhi Shahu.
According to a police spokesperson, the cops stopped the driver at a checkpoint and demanded the payment. SP Ali arrived at the scene, suspended the cops, and ordered the DSP Gujjarpura to launch an investigation.
