Saif praises armed forces performance
PESHAWAR: Adviser to Chief Minister on Information, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Sunday commended the military’s recent performance in the standoff with India.
“The nation has stood united like a wall against the enemy. Our valiant Air Force has delivered a resounding victory, lifting the spirit and pride of the entire country,” he said as per a handout.
Saif said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan was the only true national leader who challenged the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi despite being in prison, whereas Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Nawaz Sharif failed to utter a single word against India.
He criticized PMLN chief Nawaz Sharif after accusing him of keeping silent during the recent military standoff between Pakistan and India.Saif criticized Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for their conduct during the recent conflict, accusing them of preferring personal friendship with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He alleged that the current government, formed through manipulated election results (Form 47), remained focused on fabricating cases against Imran Khan instead of rising above political vendettas during national crises.
Calling for the immediate release of Imran Khan, Saif stated, “Only Imran can truly unify Pakistan as one nation. He has the guts to call out the enemy and advance the national interests.”
