NUTech, Falcon Education ink MoU to enhance students’ skills
LAHORE : An MoU has been signed between the National University of Technology (NUTech), Islamabad and Falcon Education & Consultancy Services to polish the skills of Pakistan youth.
NUTech Registrar Brig Dr Syed Adnan Qasim and renowned educationist, CEO, and founder of Falcon Education, Syed Azhar Husnain Abidi (SI), represented their respective institutions at the ceremony. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to empowering students by providing transformative educational and professional opportunities. Its broader aim is to enhance the skills of Pakistan’s youth, enabling them to play an active and impactful role in the country’s development. This partnership seeks not only to inspire students to excel beyond competition but also to nurture and refine their inherent talents and ambitions. NUTech, a federally chartered public university based in Islamabad, was established under the aegis of the Frontier Works Organization, a department of the Pakistan Army. As the country’s first "University for Industry," NUTech is dedicated to creating, developing, implementing, and promoting existing, emerging, and future technologies through world-class degree programmes in STEM fields, alongside professional certifications, technical and vocational training, and diverse scholarly pursuits. Its Professional Development Centre serves as a central hub for cultivating skills among students and professionals, with the vision of positioning NUTech as a leading force in education and innovation. Falcon Education, a pioneering name in Pakistan’s education consultancy sector, has been delivering exceptional services to students and professionals since 1992. Thousands of individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds have benefitted from its expertise. With its global reach, passion for limitless education, and highly personalised services, Falcon Education now aims to collaborate with NUTech’s Professional Development Centre. The partnership will focus on initiatives such as Career Counselling Sessions, Faculty Development Programmes, Student Support for Higher Education Abroad, and, most importantly, securing Academic and Merit Scholarships for students. Their shared vision is to equip students with the tools, skills, necessary to thrive on the global stage.
