India’s blunder
The Modi regime committed blunder after blunder in the aftermath of the Pahalgam incident. Pakistan responded to each misstep with mature and credible diplomatic and defensive measures, resulting in increasing humiliation for the Indian government and security forces. Pakistan’s mainstream media also played a very positive role by providing mature and timely coverage of the conflict, corroborated with irrefutable facts. This was in stark contrast to the Indian media, which became a factory of lies and false claims, echoing the baseless propaganda being pushed online by Hindutva Twitter/X trolls. Now that a ceasefire has been reached, the country can take satisfaction in the overall performance of its security and other institutions. That being said, in future, we can do a better job of pushing our narrative in the international media.
