PUASA holds rally to express solidarity with Pak Army
LAHORE:Punjab University Academic Staff Association (PUASA) organised a grand rally to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army at New Campus here on Thursday.
On this occasion, PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr M Ali, President Academic Staff Association Dr Amjad Abbas Magsi, Secretary Dr M Islam, President Officers Welfare Association Dr Tauqeer, teachers, employees and students, including a number of school children were present.
Addressing the rally participants, Dr M Ali paid tribute to the Pakistan Army for giving a befitting reply to Indian aggression and said that the Pakistan Army has once again proven that it is the world’s number 1 army.
The participants of the rally raised slogans against India and in favor of the Pakistan Army. In his address, PU VC Prof Dr M Ali said that the Pakistani nation is united, we were alive yesterday and we are still alive today.
He said that we are those who are not afraid of death. He said that we are not afraid of India's numbers because Pakistan’s 250 million people are an army. He said that we want peace but Modi has started a war but we will end it.
He said that we want to give a message to all our soldiers that we are with you. He said that whenever the army calls, we will come to the border and fight and teach India such a lesson that its generations will remember.
He said that we will break India and protect the country till the last drop of blood. He said that all the teachers, employees and students of PU stand by the side of the Pakistan’s armed forces.
Dr Amjad Magsi said that India always uses such low tactics in the darkness of night. He said that we pay tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army. He said that they are ready to confront Indian aggression on every platform. He said that there will be no compromise on the integrity of Pakistan. He said that they will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the security of Pakistan. Dr M Islam said that the enemy has no idea which nation he has challenged. He said that we know how to defend ourselves very well. He said that India should now wait for our turn.
