Chained boy rescued in Bannu

BANNU: The police demonstrated a remarkable act of humanity by rescuing a boy who was found chained by his father.
The incident came to light after a post went viral on social media, prompting swift action from senior police officials. Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sajad Khan and District Police Officer (DPO) Bannu Saleem Abbas Kulachi took immediate notice of the viral post and directed DSP City Arshad Khan to take urgent action. DSP Arshad Khan reached the location and successfully freed the child from chains. The boy’s father was arrested on the spot and taken into custody at the local police station. After being detained, the father admitted his mistake and pledged not to repeat such behaviour in the future.
