Murad lauds services of outgoing Iranian consul general
A farewell meeting of Iranian Consul General Hassan Nourian with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was held at CM House on Tuesday.
Officials said Sindh Minister for Planning and Development Nasir Hussain Shah, Minister for Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Agha Wasif and others attended the meeting.
The first consul of Iran, Vahid Asghari, Vice Consul Ghulam Abbas Zabuli and Vice Consul Maysam Kavia also attended the meeting.
The chief minister appreciated the services of the Iranian consul general, saying that Hassan Nourian played an important role in visa facilitation and trade in Sindh.
The outgoing consul general thanked the chief minister for his cooperation. He called Sindh his second home, saying the Sindh government had always played a positive role in bilateral relations.
He also thanked CM Shah, his government and the people of Sindh. The chief minister presented the consul general with an Ajrak, a Sindhi cap and other gifts. He expressed his best wishes for Hassan Nourian's upcoming appointment.
